Creative Linens Homeless Bedding
Dubious pleasure – spend the night outside, on asphalt or concrete slabs, found hiding God knows where rags or pieces of cardboard. But some choose not to have… And for those who have a choice – black silk, satin white, or cotton with fun prints, designers offer an extreme version of the linen called Homeless Bedding.
Feel yourself like a homeless, sleeping in a soft and warm bed!
So, a blanket and pillow from a kit Homeless Bedding look like very real cardboard boxes like boxes of TVs, refrigerators and other appliances. A sheet that is stretched to a comfortable mattress of home bed, disguised as a concrete slab pavement. The shape looks like solid, uncomfortable and cold, but really it’s soft and nice.
The author of creative pillowcases, duvet covers and sheets is German designer Erik van Loo. He created this project not only for the sake of their own sense of humor, but also for helping homeless children in their country. For example, proceeds from the sale of these unusual bedding is transferred to the charity fund “Kids Off Road”.
