Decorate Your Interior with Mirrors
Everyone knows that a mirror can easily and simply increase the space of a small room or visually expand the narrow corridor, which is not uncommon in ordinary apartments. But just one hanging mirror in the middle of a large wall will look lonely.
Fulfilling its role in reflecting and at the expense of reflection “increasing” space of the premises, it is nevertheless not be able to continue the style image of the apartment. It is better to hang not one mirror, but a few, and supplement them with thick baguette frames with a complex profile.
Arrange them, for example, along the corridor and add lamps on the top to illuminate the paintings. You will get almost an art gallery at your house, where your portrait will be displayed in each frame. And the interior style will be determined as classic in the best sense of the word.
And if you modify the same technique using frames with more simple profiles, thinner sizes and brighter colors (if desired) and place them on the wall in a chaotic manner, you will get more modern and slightly mischievous interior.
Space of the corridor will visually expand. But such indiscriminate placement of mirrors will bring into your home a real parallel world: absolutism.
To enhance the effect, it is possible to orient these mirrors in different directions, i.e. to hang up them so that from one side, they retreat to the wall by 1-2 centimeters. Then all the mirrors will reflect different pieces of the opposite wall, which will give the interior more mystery and uniqueness.
However, it is important to remember and bear in mind that the very mirrors will reflect. The opposite wall should not be a faceless gray plane, but rather a moderate background. It is very important not to overdo it.
Since the mirrors are very strong in pulling attention to themselves, the items in front of them, should not argue with them. This can be compared with the background in the photo: it is not right, if it will distract attention from those who are photographed. In fact, if to think, a mirror is our personal portrait in real time.
The most daring can arrange mirrors opposite each other. However, this version has a serious drawback. Think about as far as you want to see yourself in repeatedly multiplied reflections on the road to bathroom in the morning?
