This KitchenAid mixer is an excellent investment! I just love mine! The dough hook attachment is the greatest invention ever. No more kneading! Add your ingredients, turn it on and it does the rest! It has a very powerful motor and every part of this mixer is excellent quality and well made. It is simple to lock in the mixing bowl and it is also a breeze to clean. The different attachments are very easy to attach and remove. It would be impossible not to love it! Did I mention how easy the clean up is? I love it so much I bought the KitchenAid quilted cover for it. Once you use this mixer you will never want to use anything else! The Best!!!
KitchenAid Silicone-Handled Garlic Press - Red
This was another disappointing gadget purchase from Kitchen Aid. I have the garlic press in white and after several frustrating tries have given up on trying to use it all together. The waffle like vessel where the garlic goes is not a part of the rest of the instrument, thus the problem. It’s always falling out, and in order to store the thing I have to use a twist tie so I don’t loose the most important part of the press. On top of all that the garlic doesn’t come out cleanly, and I found that in order to get about a half teaspoon of garlic I had to use about 3 cloves before it would materialize! Yes, it gets stuck and you have to continue to add more cloves to cohearse the minced pieces out and away from the press! Too much work for not much at all.
